CHANGE OF GUARD IN DGMS

There is a change of guard in DGMS. Mr. Satish Puri has retired on superannuation on 31st January and Mr. Rahul Guha has taken charge as Chief Inspector of Mines.
Mr. Rahul Guha graduated from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in the year 1979 and thereafter did his M.Tech in Opencast Mining from Indian School of Mines in the 1983. He joined DGMS in the year 1988 as Dy. Director after serving in Coal India and an Explosives Company.
Mr. Guha brings a wealth of experience with him from the Mining Industry and from working in various important positions in the DGMS.
Besides being an accomplished Mining Engineer and Manager, he is also a renowned adventure photographer.
